Lyrical easy-listening wistful indie pop for the soul in repair. Demon is a song which I realized, much after it was written, was a note to my future self, about the trials of growing together until you grow apart. Recorded this a couple years after it first came to be, but right after someone dear grew apart. Lyrically, perhaps this is one of the songs that resonated the most, because it seemed to have captured a companionship that seemed unshakably timeless until it was tainted irrevocably by the very things that drew us to each other.
